Earn Excellence in Excel!
Previously, we’ve discussed new skills to pick up, like coding and shorthand writing. To switch it up here’s a skill that you probably have already which can be improved to save potentially hours upon hours of work. Almost all of us use Microsoft Office frequently in our jobs or education, but little know the true power of Microsoft Excel. Excel is a very popular tool, used in the office, classroom, and home for tracking finances, managing databases, parsing datasets, and anything requiring a spreadsheet. If you frequently work with Excel for any reason, consider taking classes or watching online tutorials to get the most out of the tool. With a few clicks, you can master the use of Excel formulas, data sorting, pattern recognition, macros, or even specialized developer tools. Further, you can edit your Excel en masse with ease by writing custom Python or R scripts and save hours of time through learning the abundance keyboard shortcuts for spreadsheet functions.
